Why Blog

I started this blog some time ago but it got pushed to the back burner and I eventually forgot about it. Only recently did I began to take some time to update it. But why bother blogging at all?... 


Well, first of all, it's pretty fun. For those who blog you'd probably agree.  I mean, a forum where we can discuss whatever topics we choose and whatever ideas that interest us; for a person who loves to talk (such as myself) it really is a great opportunity to offer my "two cents" (whether or not it's worth that depends on the reader). I'll be taking the opportunity as time permits it to discuss things that I love learning about and things that I love sharing with whomever might be interested. 

Probably the most important subject matter that I'll be blogging about and one that I really love to discuss whenever the opportunity presents itself is that of God's amazing grace (If you haven't already noticed by my other posts). A subject that has been studied by many people long before I was even born, and yet it's a subject that is brand new to me, at least the perspective that I've been reading about and listening to. I'm learning about his love for us in a way that I've never known it before. Not to minimize anything I've learned over the years growing up in the church. Everything that I've ever learned about God has all contributed to my relationship with him today so I don't regret what I learned as a child, during my teen years, or as a young adult. I believe all things work together for good to them who love him and so I'm thankful for my church, my pastors, other leaders that I've learned from, and anybody who's taught me anything about Jesus. When it's all said and done I'm just an average guy, a sinner saved by grace who is only interested in sharing what I continue to learn about Christ. 


In addition to discussing theology which will likely take up most of my posts I do enjoy discussing politics along with any social issues that might be the 'hot topics' of the day. I do intend to update this blog more frequently so check back and please feel free to comment and discuss anything that you might agree with or even whatever you disagree with. I love having an open dialogue and am more than willing to participate in discussion. In addition to sharing I'm even more interested in learning so by all means feel free to share your own knowledge and experience.
